One of the most important aspects of what we do is education, both on an everyday level through customer interaction, and in a deeper, more focused way through our Wine Underground Beverage School. This is a unique venue, located in the basement of 88 Hammond Street, an historic downtown building which was renovated in 2000.

 Bangor Wine and Cheese Company owner, Eric Mihan, leads small groups though the basics: How to taste like a pro, selecting bottles both on restaurant lists and store shelves, as well as storing and serving wine at home! A fun and informative hour, with wines included, that will aid anyone looking to become more comfortable with enjoying vino!
